NAME: Alicia Melchiott

APPEARANCE: Alicia is about 5'3" with a smaller but athletic build. She regularly wears blue and white and almost always has her red bandana on her and regularly wears her hair in either a ponytail or more often the twintails. There is more on the Wiki.
PERSONALITY: Alicia is someone who is defined by her upbringing. While she didn't have much time with her parents before they died they instilled in her a kindness that she spread to others. In her time in the orphanage she was someone who all the younger kids looked up to and she did everything she could to keep them happy, the big sister everyone would have wanted. She cared for them all and would do anything for the people she cares about and comes to care for people easily.

The one drawback to her caring personality is that she is pretty easy to take advantage of because she'll regularly go out of her way to avoid confrontation. It makes her a bit of a pushover when it comes to most situations. She knows how to turn it off and be serious to get things done, but at the same time outside of military situations she's pretty much a pushover. When she is in a serious situation though she is a pretty good leader, having impressed enough to be the second in her squad due to her dedication and work ethic. In her serious mode she also becomes more blunt and straight to the point. Able to relay orders and command respect with efficiency.

If there is one thing she does and does well, it's work hard. Whatever she does whether it's school, the bakery, the military, she puts everything she has in to it. This comes at the expense of her social life but at the same time, she's happy that way. She's most happy sitting in a room, kneading dough, working as hard as she can because she knows that if something she made makes one person happy, then it's all worth it. To give less that her all would betray what she believes in, that she should always do everything she can for everyone around her.

She's always kind, but she also wears her heart on her sleeve but sometimes has a problem
with being a bit nosy. She always wants to be there for people and will regularly do that annoying mom thing where she just keeps asking questions about how you're feeling if she sees you down. She wants to know so she can cheer you up and boy god can that be annoying. "Are you ok? How are you feeling? What happened? Tell me about it?" that annoying third degree you get sometimes.

While she's friendly and caring most of the time there are occasions where she suddenly will become shy, when she really opens up to people and talks about herself is the main time. She can hold a long conversation but if that conversation shifts to her she has a tendency to become bashful and shy. She's always felt akward in that regard because she still does have a worry about the reaction she'll get to talking about being an orphan.


POWERS/ABILITIES: Alicia's Power is an emotional control of the energy in her body. She has no real control over her power and it manifests itself under extreme emotional conditions. Extreme anger, fear, panic, worry, love, hate, etc. will cause it to violently erupt from her body entirely controlling her actions. She's still there, she sees and feels every action but she is a prisoner in her own body, unable to take control of her actions.

When her power manifests her eyes glow red, her hair loses color and takes on a silver tone and her entire body glows with a blue flame like energy as well as growing a solid shield and lance formed of a hard swirling blue light which is a concentration point of the energy able to target and release strong blasts of energy with large destructive potential. If she were to expel all her energy at once without the focus it would lead to an incredibly large explosion of energy destroying everything around her. Outside of her energy blasts the power will also do minor repairs to her body. It's mostly a superficial healing only the bare minimum to get her body in fighting shape. A bullet hole won't magically vanish but it will cauterize the wound. It also increases her speed to superhuman levels.

How she reacts under the influence of her power is entirely dependant on the emotion that caused it to manifest. Fear, she'll lash out at everything around her, in anger it will be directly targeted at the focus of her anger, worry, she'll stop at nothing to keep the people she's worried about safe and so on. He power runs until she burns through the limited amount of energy of the manifestation. She only has so much energy to blow through before she'll collapse and return to her normal self and usually pass out from the exertion.

Controlling her power is all a matter of not fighting the emotion in control. Telling herself to not panic and trying to fight the emotion won't do anything. Letting herself feel the emotion in her soul will allow her to direct it. It won't let her fully control herself but it will give her a small amount of it.

When she's not under the control of her power she has military training and is a trained marksman and distance runner.


AU HISTORY: Alicia's is a second generation immigrant from the nation of Gallia which no longer exists. Her grandparents emmigrated to America during World War 2 and settled in New York. As a baby her parents died in an accident leaving her in the foster system. Growing up in the orphanage was hard but she was always a well adjusted kid who tried to raise the spirits of everyone around her.

After a couple of years she was adopted by Jim and Martha Gunther. Her new father was a baker and her mom worked in a local museum upstate. They clearly loved each other and Alicia but also wanted her to stay who she ways. Alicia was allowed to keep her name and they made sure that she kept her family's memory alive, inspiring her to keep the memory of her family alive. They displayed her memories of her real family right alongside that of her new and encouraged her to never forget her roots which is why Alicia Melchiott never become Alicia Gunther and regularly wore her grandmothers old Gallian bandana.

It was a happy life as Alicia went to school and spent a long time with her dad learning how to bake. Eventually they saved enough money that Jim was able to open his own bakery. In thinking of a name he came up with the only thing he could think of. The thing that he and Martha had always wanted. He named it after his daughter and worked her headwear into the logo and Alicia's Bakery was born. It quickly became the place to go in town for all of your bread based needs, serving local schools, restaurants and everything else.

With business booming her family was able to buy a house rather than living in an apartment, having a yard and garden was something she always wanted, planting flowers and the ability to have a pet. That was the first thing they did. She and her dad went to the pet store and started looking at all the different pets. They looked at cats, dogs, and all sorts of things but it was an adorable little pig that caught her eye. So they adopted a little pig and named him Hans. She and her Hans were near inseperable, eventually they worked the little guy into their logo. Giving him cute little wings and suddenly Alicia's Bakery had an adorable piggy mascot.

She worked with her dad all through school until she turned 18 and joined the military after graduation. It was important to her to serve as she could. She served a full term stationed at a military base in Poland right near where her family originated. She served her term mostly training and never seeing any real action however her attitude and work ethic impressed her superiors allowing her to move through the ranks. After her term was up she returned home to the bakery and spent her time baking and delivering bread for the bakery. She had no intention of going to college, she knew what she wanted to do, she just wanted to bake. To make people happy with her creations.

She was that wonderful delivery girl, chatting people up as she made deliveries, proud of who she was. Until one day she was making her deilivery to Xavier's when all hell broke loose. She suddenly found herself being targeted by security turrets and started running, trying to stay safe, trying not to get hit. It didn't work, she was hit by a blast and fell into a paniced state. Suddenly she felt an energy coursing through her body as she lost control. She couldn't move, she was a prisoner in her own body. But her body was moving. Her body was exploding with energy. She sees a lance suddenly appear in one hand and release a blast of energy destroying the canon that shot her and then felt herself falling to the ground as everything went black.

She looks at the camera with a kind smile on her face.]

I've been noticing since I got here, there is no food program. I was wondering if anyone was interested in forming some sort of baking club for after class. To make treats and things for everyone?

[she looks back down and starts rolling out the dough across the counter]
